West Greenwich-based GTECH, a provider of electronic lottery services,
said on Tuesday that it expects to receive $25 million in revenue as a
subcontractor to the Virginia Lottery, through Oberthur Gaming, the state
lottery’s primary contractor, according to a New England Tech Wire report.
Oberthur has been informed by the Virginia Lottery of its intent to award it a seven-year contract. Under the deal with Oberthur, GTECH will provide new instant ticket vending machines and management of warehousing and distribution of instant tickets.
