New England Chapter IPMI announces Fall Dinner Meeting October 29, 2014
Providence, RI — The New England Chapter of IPMI announces their Annual Fall Dinner Meeting Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Highland Country Club, Attleboro, MA. Special Guest Speaker Frank Motta, Vice President for CAI Managed IT, Computer Associates, Inc. Topic: Cyber-Security and Your Business. Security Strategies for Small & Medium Businesses.
Frank Motta is executive vice-president for CAI Managed IT, the managed services division of Computer Associates, Inc. (CAI) in Smithfield, RI. In addition to managing a team of network specialists and IT professionals, Mr. Motta, is also responsible for company’s strategic direction, technology acquisition and customer relationships.
This informative and timely educational session will discuss cyber-security and business continuity solutions for small and medium-size businesses (SMBs). The presentation will describe the need for a holistic company-wide methodology to minimizing the organization’s exposure to cyber criminals. Mr. Motta will discuss the various approaches and best practices around cyber-security, disaster recovery and business continuity, and will highlight some of the affordable, technology solutions available today.
