LITTLETON – Viisage Technology, Inc. and Curtis-Wright Corp. have agreed to participate in a joint licensing agreement with the U.S. Defense Dept. to produce and sell face-recognition security systems, Bloomberg News reported. Viisage face-recognition software is already used throughout the country at airports, malls and motor vehicle departments. Curtis-Wright, the aerospace and industrial manufacturer, will seek new customers as well as sell products to its customers in the Defense Department. Viisage said it will double its employees to 200 to meet increasing demands for its products.
