CVS November same-store sales up 7.6 percent

CVS Corp., the second-largest U.S. drug-store chain behind Walgreen Co., said Tuesday that sales rose 7.6 percent in the four weeks ended Nov. 24 at stores open for at least a year.

Pharmacy same-store sales were up 10.2 percent and front-end same-store sales were up 2.8 percent, the company said.
