FALL RIVER – Underwater-robotics manufacturer Aquabotix Technology Corp. has added five new distributors to its global network, in Norway, Canada, Denmark, Japan and New Zealand, the company announced in a press release.
“With these recent additions, we look forward to reaching a wider range of users and suppliers across multiple sectors,” said David Batista, CEO of Aquabotix, “while ensuring our underwater products and vehicles meet our customers’ respective needs.”

Aquabotix makes products such as the Endura ROV (remotely operated vehicle); the Integra AUV (autonomous underwater vehicle)/ROV; and the AquaLens Connect underwater camera system.
As for the new distributors, SBS Teknikk AS will represent Aquabotix in Norway, Denmark and Sweden, the company said, providing fish farms with live, underwater views. Romor Atlantic, which distributes oceanographic, off-shore oil and other products, is based in Canada. Aquatech Services will represent Aquabotix in Australia and New Zealand, as will Seismic Asia Pacific – which provides hydrographic, oceanographic and geophysical systems. Hydro Systems Development Inc. of Tokyo will distribute for the company in Japan.
