EAST GREENWICH – Arpin International Group, the global moving company, was honored as the BP 2007 Vendor of the Year at the petroleum company’s annual supplier conference in Denver. Cristina Borges, Arpin’s BP client team leader for the Americas, was honored for Outstanding Service by an Individual.
“Whether they are handling a challenging move or bringing innovative programs and changes to our business, Arpin International Group demonstrates their willingness to consistently rise above the call of duty for BP, our clients and customers,” Anita Blanchett, BP’s global vendor manager for international mobility, said in a statement yesterday.
“With a work force of nearly 100,000 employees, BP operates globally, with business activities and customers in more than 100 countries across six continents,” noted BP Procurement Manager James Carroll. Arpin “has not only taken on a great responsibility by working with us, but has simultaneously achieved the highest customer satisfaction rates of any of our suppliers this year,” he said.
“We are honored to receive this recognition from BP,” said Bob Sullivan, senior vice president of Arpin International’s parent company, Arpin Group Inc. “We are particularly proud of our team members around the world who provide excellent service to BP. I was personally impressed with [their] spirit of global teamwork.”
Arpin Group Inc. – the holding company for Arpin International Group, Arpin Van Lines, Arpin Moving Systems (Canada), Star Moving Network and Intermodal Credit Corp. – has remained family owned and operated since its founding more than a century ago.
