EAST GREENWICH, R.I. (December 12, 2011) – Arpin International Group announced today that four of its officers, Bob Sullivan, Mark Greene, Chris Hood and Silvia Louro have each received a Registered International Mover® (RIM) certification from the American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA). The Arpin International Group U.S. office holds its own RIM certification.

“The RIM program was created to provide customers of international household goods relocation services with a standardized, independent means of differentiating and selecting qualified moving companies throughout the world,” said Linda Bauer Darr, president and CEO of AMSA. “We are proud to certify these Arpin International Group officers and affirm their commitment to the highest ethical standards of our industry.”

AMSA’s Registered International Mover (RIM) program has established universal standards for international moving companies and their personnel, while raising their overall level of professionalism and performance. RIM’s goals include creating a core body of knowledge, procedures, documents and skills embodied in training and measured in certification programs, which reduce the number of service failures, improve customer satisfaction and elevate the consistency of quality service of certified companies and individuals.

Currently, more than 220 companies throughout the world and more than 1,000 individuals have completed corporate and individual RIM certification.
