After months of planning, construction, and anticipation, Bank Rhode Island (BankRI) is pleased to announce the opening of its new Johnston branch. Located at 1450 Hartford Avenue in the new Johnston Towne Centre, the state-of-the-art banking facility offers customers additional conveniences with the exceptional products and customer service they’ve come to expect from BankRI.
Johnston is a community where BankRI has long enjoyed a presence. Prior to the opening of its new branch, the Bank previously operated a location nearby on Hartford Avenue—one of its original branches. As part of its commitment to Johnston, BankRI played a major role in the redevelopment of Johnston Towne Centre, a vital economic development initiative for the community. Along with committing to the new building, BankRI’s Commercial Real Estate Group provided a $12 million debt financing package to the owner and developer of the site, 1450 TC, LLC.

BankRI’s new Johnston branch includes a spacious and welcoming customer waiting area; drive-thru banking capabilities, internal and external ATMs, safe deposit boxes, private meeting space, and more. The office is led by Donna Sangermano, Branch Manager.
