PROVIDENCE – Berkshire Bank was recently recognized by Bloomberg for its policies and practices to support gender equality.
The Boston-based bank, which includes branches in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts, was one of 380 companies recognized on Bloomberg’s 2021 Gender Equality Index. This is the second year the bank was named to the index, which evaluates gender equality of public companies based on female leadership and talent pipeline, equal pay and gender pay parity, inclusive culture, sexual harassment policies and pro-women brand.
