PROVIDENCE – Boston.com named Providence one of four New England ‘foodie cities’ that Boston chefs love in an article on Wednesday. The article featured input from five Boston chefs who have been nominated or have won James Beard Awards, including Juan Pedrosa, Joanne Chang, Irene Li, Tony Maws and Ana Sortun.

The article highlights James Mark’s North and North Bakery as well as Benjamin Sukle’s restaurants birch and Oberlin, as raved about by Irene Li, the youngest member of the sibling trio behind Boston’s Mei Mei.
