The grant is part of $1.2 million in grants and in-kind support Cox Charities donated to area nonprofits for their focus on after-school programming.
“The Boys and Girls Clubs of Warwick is an outstanding organization dedicated to the positive development and educational achievement of our youth,” said Paul Cronin, senior vice president and general manager of Cox Communications New England.
Cox Charities New England has provided more that $5 million in support to local nonprofit organizations in Rhode Island and Connecticut since its inception in 2001. Other organizations that received grants this year include the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket, City Year Rhode Island, the College Crusade of Rhode Island, Newport Community School, Providence Summerbridge, South Kingstown CARES and Save The Bay.
