The National Philanthropy Day Breakfast & Awards Ceremony is AFP-RI’s annual event to recognize and celebrate the significant impact of philanthropy in our community.  Each year AFP-RI honors individuals and groups who, through their hard work and dedication, have enhanced philanthropy, their communities and the world.

A nomination for a National Philanthropy Day Award is an incredibly impactful way to express appreciation for the contributions of time, talent and/or treasure.  Members of the non-profit community are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.

Award recipients are announced in the National Philanthropy Day Breakfast & Awards Ceremony invitation and have a prominent presence at the event.  Nominations for the following awards are available at www.afpri.org.  The deadline for submitting completed nominations is Friday, July 31, 2015.

Any questions regarding the National Philanthropy Day awards or nomination process can be directed to Jill Gonsalves at 401-230-1675 or jgonsalves@rifoodbank.org.
