(Providence, Rhode Island) –CDC New England, a statewide provider of SBA 504 loans, has announced that it has opened an office at 30 Exchange Terrace in Providence Rhode Island.
Garrett B. Hunter, Rhode Island State Chairman of CDC New England commented, “This represents a significant investment of resources to support small businesses in Rhode Island. We are expecting to have a substantial impact on new business growth and on the jobs that they help create.” Both Mr. Hunter and Loan and Investment Officer, Nancy Gibeau will be based in the new Rhode Island office. Mr. Hunter is the past president of the Business Development Co. of Rhode Island and has also been instrumental in establishing the Rhode Island Business Plan Competition. He also co-founded Cherrystone Angel Group, Rhode Island’s first angel investment group and he continues to serve on the board of several companies and philanthropic organizations.
Nancy M. Gibeau, Loan and Investment Officer, works with area businesses in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts. Nancy has over fourteen years of experience in banking and small business lending. Nancy graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.
