WEST WARWICK – Cox Communications has launched its new technical-support service for home networks and peripheral equipment such as computers, software and other electronic devices.
Cox Tech Solutions will cost $14.99 a month and includes unlimited phone and remote technical services, as well as discounted in-home services for up to four computers. The service includes: configuration or repair of a home network, resolution of an operating system or software error message, installation and configuration of new PC applications and resolution of computer crashes and removal of viruses or spyware.
The subscription also requires an initial home computer tune-up of $99.99, the company said. For a one-time service repair, prices can range from $99.99 to $249.99. •
