
TAUNTON, Mass. – Former Bank of America senior executive Paul M. Lenahan has been named senior vice president of Anawon Trust, a division of Bristol County Savings Bank, based in Taunton.
Lenahan, who has more than 30 years experience in the banking industry, will provide oversight of Anawon Trust with responsibility for delivering investment and trust capabilities to the bank’s clients, Bristol County Savings Bank said in a news release.
He was previously a senior vice president at Bank of America in Providence. Lenahan is a graduate of Providence College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA. He is a certified financial planner and a graduate of the school’s College for Financial Planning.
Currently a member of the Rhode Island Estate Planning Council and the Providence Society of Financial Analysts, Lenahan received the Mal Brown Award from Providence College’s Mal Brown Club in 2007 for loyalty and distinguished service to Providence College and the community.
Lenahan is a board member and treasurer of the Hockomock YMCA and vice chairman of Phoenix Houses of New England. He is also a member of the President’s Council of Providence College and the Diocese of Providence Loan Review Committee.
He previously served as the director of the United Way of Attleboro and the United Way of Metro West and has participated in development activities for the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association and other charitable organizations.
Lenahan is a resident of North Attleboro, where he has served as a member of the Finance Committee.
