How has COVID-19 impacted your work-life balance? It wasn’t until mid-March that [the pandemic] truly felt closer to home when we advised our Newport staff to start working from home for the foreseeable future. At that point, the line between work-life became work-school-life and the lines have blurred. We figure out new ways to communicate, share information and develop efficiencies, some of which I think will remain for the long term.
Where do you see yourself in five years? Hopefully continuing on the path that I’ve started, learning and growing every day. As CFO, I hope I can continue to provide leadership and strategic direction to responsibly expand our company.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self? Don’t worry or take things too serious.
What is your greatest attribute that you bring to your job? Taking ownership in everything I do.
