We have selected your publication because we have discovered during our marketing program that the readership of business journals are very interested in the material in this book. The feedback we have received shows that during this time of economic flux substantial numbers of companies are considering a move to more rural environments, as we did. Some for strictly economic reasons but many for life style motives. Not only is this book relevant for the owners or managers, but also for employees who need to decide whether they want to also make such a change.

Gov. Statistics Confirm Shift to Rural Living

Spokane, WA. 7/7/2013 Actual experience in moving family and business from metropolitan area to rural environment captured in new book.

Data from the 2000 US Census shows that rural areas of the United States showed a gain of 5.6 million people since 1990, and the majority of growth came from net migration (Rural Rebound: Recent Nonmetropolitan Demographic Trends in the United States by Kenneth Johnson et.al 1999.)  While the 2010 Census, (HAC Rural Research note December 2011) indicates that other areas of the country are growing at a rate of 300% of the metropolitan growth rate. These statistics indicate that an increasing number of Americans are making, or contemplating a move from metropolitan areas to rural environments, particularly in the western US: Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Wyoming, Montana, parts of Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Alaska, and Colorado.  Anyone in this group might be interested in reading   “The Nest,” (available online at Amazon/Kindle and other leading eBook sites.)  an account of a Californian who moved his family and entire business to a very rural environment in Priest River  and less rural Coeur D’Alen both of which are located in Idaho. We have included  free links to Drop box ,where you can review the material with either a WORD of PDF copy.
