Members of the Congdon Street Baptist Church Gospel Chorale sing at a gathering last Tuesday to honor the memory of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. The event, hosted by Providence Mayor David N. Cicilline in the rotunda of the R.I. Convention Center, also included other performances and the induction of local activists Malcolm Farmer III, a lawyer with Hinckley, Allen & Snyder, and the late Rev. Dr. Raymond E. Gibson into the 2007 Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Hall of Fame.
