Jessica Jewell

PBN 40 UNDER FORTY 2020 AWARD WINNER Jessica Jewell, 39 | Associate, Nixon Peabody LLP

How has COVID-19 impacted your work-life balance? The pandemic has both helped and hindered that balance. The positive aspect is that I get to see my toddler a lot more during the week than ever before. A downside – which many of us have faced – is that my working hours are far less “regular” these days.

Where do you see yourself in five years? I’m lucky to be part of such a great firm and I hope to continue progressing in my career at Nixon Peabody.

What is your greatest attribute that you bring to your job? I genuinely care about my clients and their needs. My job is much more than just providing competent legal advice. It’s being on the same team as my clients and treating their problems as if they are my own.
