“Your name on a business helps with trust,” Padraic Keane said.

In 2020, the business faced another change when COVID-19 struck. But a longtime relationship with Trillium Brewing in Canton, Mass., paid off when the brewery expanded its garden and hired the Keanes to provide food on weekends.

To avoid layoffs or even closing due to event cancellations, the couple began offering takeout in Cranston’s Edgewood neighborhood.

Since then, the Keanes slowly have done more catering for weddings, corporate parties and other events. They also hired an efficiency coach to help with value stream mapping.

In 2022, revenue grew by 124.8% compared with 2020, logging in $1 million last year, with half a dozen office and planning staff.
