KVH recognized for boat satellite systems

MIDDLETOWN – KVH Industries Inc. recently won Houseboating Adventures Magazine’s 2007 DIGI Award for Communications Company of the Year.
The award from Houseboating Adventures, leading magazine for houseboaters and boating enthusiasts, recognized KVH’s TracVision satellite TV antennas and TracPhone satellite communications systems as “invaluable in making life on the water feel like home,” according to the company.
In a news release, Bob Cooper, KVH’s national sales manager, said the company was “extremely proud” of the award. “As the leader in mobile satellite communications, KVH is committed to helping consumers join the conveniences they enjoy on land with their passion for life on the water.
