Lighthouse Computer wins award from IBM

LINCOLN – Lighthouse Computer Services Inc. is the 2008 IBM Business Partner Excellence Award winner for North America.
IBM presents the award annually to one business partner on each of the six continents where the company does business.
Lighthouse was chosen from among all of IBM’s business partners, including resellers, consultants and integrators, as well as independent software vendors. Its selection marked the first time IBM has given the award to a regionally focused partner.
“Lighthouse was selected as a winner of the Business Partner Excellence Award based on its ability to deliver cutting-edge innovative value to customers while working closely with IBM to both create and deliver solutions and technologies to customers,” Ayman Antoun, vice president of IBM Business Partners Americas, said in a statement.
Lighthouse had $114 million in sales of IBM hardware, software and other offerings in 2007, mostly to customers in New England, New York and New Jersey. The company has made significant investments in its IBM business, including its Business Partner Innovation Center, which is equipped with more than $2 million in hardware and software available for demonstration. •
