Loiselle Insurance Agency earns ‘best practices’ distinction for 12th time

PAWTUCKET – Loiselle Insurance Agency has been named a 2010 Best Practices Agency by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America, the 12th year the agency has been given the honor.
Each year, the IIABA studies the leading agencies and brokers in the country and recognizes them for their outstanding performance. More than 1,200 independent agencies were nominated, with only 224 agencies qualifying for the honor. To be selected, the agency must have been among the 35 to 40 top-performing agencies in their revenue category.
“We are honored to have garnered this national recognition for 12 consecutive years,” said Bob Loiselle, president of Loiselle Insurance Agency. “The Best Practices award acknowledges operating excellence, and our staff works hard each day to make certain that our customers always receive award-winning service and superior insurance products.”
Established in 1993, the Best Practice Study analyzes and documents the business practices of independent insurance agencies throughout the country and urges others to adopt similar practices. Agencies are nominated by either an IIABA affiliated state association or an insurance company, and must submit extensive financial and operational data.
Loiselle Insurance is a fourth-generation, Trusted Choice insurance agency, operated by Loiselle and his daughters, Melanie Loiselle-Mongeon and Brenda Loiselle-DuClos. The elder Loiselle is past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Rhode Island, a past national director of IIABA, and has served on the IIABA Trusted Choice board of directors. Loiselle-Mongeon is also a past president of IIARI, and Loiselle-DuClos has served on numerous committees for the industry association.
