How do you think COVID-19 will change your industry going forward? Health care will continuously evaluate and implement best practices to ensure the safety of staff and patients. Specifically in pharmacy, drug shortages impacted patient care across the country. Monitoring inventory availability and being prepared to implement substitutions is imperative.

Where do you see yourself in five years? Coaching my son’s sports teams.

What was your first job? Newspaper delivery boy.

What moment changed your life more than any other? The birth of my amazing son.

What is your greatest attribute that you bring to your job? Leadership.

What is your favorite Rhode Island food or drink? Clam cakes and “chowdah.”

Fox or MSNBC? Fox.

What are you looking forward to doing again the most post-pandemic? Returning to Gillette Stadium and TD Garden to cheer on the Patriots and Bruins.

What does winning this award mean to you? I am humbled and honored to receive this prestigious award. The morals I will strive to teach my son are reflected in being a recipient: focus on what is within your control, the effort you put in and the way you treat others.
