How do you think COVID-19 will change your industry going forward? Financial literacy pedagogy should be closely examined. The acceleration of digital learning changed the way we teach and the way students access information. But the effectiveness of digital-based financial education remains in question.

What is the best advice you have ever received? As is our confidence, so is our capacity. Keep going!

What moment changed your life more than any other? The birth of my daughter was truly a defining moment in my life, which motivated me to do more, do better.

What is your greatest attribute that you bring to your job? My greatest attribute has got to be my big-picture thinking; the ability to grasp abstract concepts, ideas and possibilities. It is what led to the launch of The FLY Initiative and what has been pivotal in the organization’s success to date.

What is your favorite Rhode Island food or drink? I’m a huge fan of Ceviche from Los Andes, paired with their Don’s margarita.

What are you looking forward to doing again the most post-pandemic? I’m looking forward to getting back in front of our students and spending time with them in the classroom. Building that connection is so important in the culture work we do.
