Nestor wins an expanded red-light contract

PROVIDENCE – Nestor Traffic Systems Inc. last week announced that the city of San Bernardino, Calif. is expanding from eight to 29 lights its automated red-light enforcement contract with Nestor.
San Bernadino will continue using Nestor’s Collision Avoidance product to prevent dangerous intersection collisions. The technology holds the all-red signal phase when a violation is detected to allow cross traffic to clear the intersection before allowing oncoming traffic to enter the intersection. &#8226
