Where do you see yourself in five years? In a strategic leadership position where I have the ability to positively impact the education, training and career trajectories of diverse groups using technology and my creative approach.

What is your greatest attribute that you bring to your job? Passion. I do my best to give 100% of my energy to my work, my team and mentees.

What does winning this award mean to you? Winning this award has been a goal for several years. This award is very personal because it signifies that a high-impact leader can be a woman, a woman of color, a child of immigrants, a diversity champion, a community change agent, a committed mother, a loving spouse, and an authentic and empathetic leader.

What is your favorite song? “Hakuna Matata” from “The Lion King.” I just love the message of “no worries” – it’s a great reminder to not take yourself too seriously and just enjoy the present moment!
