The company has instituted employee emotional services over the past few months, including virtual support groups and private sessions with a certified coach of their choosing. Online culture platform WeSpire was adopted to increase communication, said Tim Reilly, Benchmark’s vice president of associate experience.

Exercise and healthy habits have gotten a boost as well, he said. “We have increased the number of company challenges that drive fun and engagement,” Reilly said, “such as Double Points Days, Nurses’ Week Challenges, and several other different events,” partnering with employee-incentive company Virgin Pulse. Employees can earn special rates on medical insurance, he said, saving up to $1,500 a year.

The Benchmark One Company Fund, meanwhile, helps employees facing financial challenges, distributing over $2 million since 2007.
