CID Capital, a private equity firm based in Indianapolis, Indiana has partnered with management to acquire MEDport LLC and its market leading Fit and Fresh brand of products. Fit & Fresh is the leading designer of fashionable and functional products that allow people to take healthy and fresh foods and drinks with them while on the go to work, school, or social events. The name of the company has been changed to Fit & Fresh Inc. to reflect the importance of the brand to our business and customers.
“Our team has done a tremendous job of designing and bringing to market innovate new products that consumers love to use when taking food with them on-the-go” said Larry Wesson the President of Fit & Fresh. “This transaction will allow us to continue accelerating the growth we’ve been experiencing since we introduced the Fit & Fresh brand in 2006”. The Company selected CID Capital because of their history of successfully partnering with management teams in the consumer product industry and specifically in the housewares category. “We are looking forward to working with CID as we capitalize on the opportunities to grow our business” said Wesson.
