“Nationally, a total of 2,368 closed transactions were reported in the first quarter of 2017, a 29 percent increase from this time last year,” the company wrote in an email.
The businesses listed as selling in the Providence metro area included restaurants in Providence County and health, medical and dental services in Bristol County. Names of the businesses were not immediately available.
