By comparison, there were 1,412 new cases identified, with eight deaths, from Oct. 16-22, 2022. New hospital admissions that week totaled 129.
There were 6,364 tests processed from Oct. 15-21, with 8.3 million tests administered in Rhode Island since the start of the pandemic.
