Rockland Trust starts 2 mutual funds

HANOVER, Mass. – The Rockland Trust Co. has formed a new investment management subsidiary and launched two mutual funds.
Bright Rock Capital Management LLC will manage the funds, Bright Rock Quality Large Cap and Bright Rock Mid Cap Growth.
Rockland Trust, subsidiary of Rockland, Mass.-based Independent Bank Corp., said Bright Rock will offer separately managed accounts as well as mutual funds. Rockland Trust’s and Bright Rock’s combined assets under management exceed $1.3 billion, the bank said.
Bright Rock’s products will be available to the global institutional investment market, executives said.
