Crown Collision Centers, a family-owned and operated collision center with locations in Pawtucket, Bristol and Middletown, has developed the Faces of Success campaign to recognize Rhode Islanders who are making a positive impact at home, work or in the community.
The campaign solicited success stories from colleges and universities across the state and received more than 60 nominations. The first Face of Success is native Rhode Islander Jameson Chace, an ecologist and assistant professor of biology and biomedical sciences at Salve Regina University.
“It’s apparent that Chace has gone above and beyond in his ecological environmental work and teachings, greatly impacting and inspiring his students in the process – which you really can’t put a price on and is exactly what the Faces of Success campaign is all about,” said Rachelle Breault, general manager of Crown Collision Centers.
Chace opted to pay forward his $500 Faces of Success prize by donating the funds to two local environmental organizations, the Aquidneck Land Trust and the Aquidneck Island Watershed Council. The money will be used to expand the Aquidneck Island Watershed Monitoring Program by involving Aquidneck Island High School students. •
