(Newport, RI) Child & Family’s Ophelia Program will showcase emerging singer and songwriter Danielle Miraglia on December 13th from 5 to 7pm at Castle Hill Inn & Resort in Newport, RI. Danielle performs her own blend of blues, country and rock with a finger-picking playing that blends biting humor, intimacy and social consciousness. The evening provides a unique free opportunity to spend time with Danielle, enjoy her performance, dinner and conversation.
According to Sharon Rust-Bottone, Coordinator of the Ophelia program for Child and Family, “Ophelia Sessions occur monthly and are free to girls and young women ages 11 to 18. The evenings offer girls and young women the opportunity to get together over a free dinner, meet amazing women, and talk about living life, challenges, and problem solving.”

Although the program is free for girls and young women ages 11 to 18, Child and Family is opening this special session on December 13th to adult women over 18 for a donation of $35, which will directly support Child & Family’s Ophelia Programs.
