Theodore Murphy has been promoted to chief operations officer in the corporate executive department of Amica Mutual Insurance Co. Murphy has worked in several Amica branch and home office locations, earning a number of promotions before being named senior vice president and superintendent of claims in 2008. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Slippery Rock University.
