Shape Up RI founder and chairman Dr. Rajiv Kumar will lead the group walk. Participants will meet at the Shape Up RI tent. Admission is free, and people of all ages are welcome.
Lippitt Park Farmers Market will be open from 3:30 to 7 p.m., selling fresh fruits and vegetables, local cheeses, seafood, meats and bread.
Members of the Extraordinary Rendition Band will perform at 6 p.m.
Shape Up RI, which has received generous support from major sponsor Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Rhode Island, is a team-based wellness program that has enrolled over 230 companies and 65,000 participants over the past five years.
