PROVIDENCE – The Rhode Island Manufacturers Association will hold a Training in Manufacturing workshop on Aug. 7 at the Providence Marriott Downtown.
Those interested in attending the workshop have until July 24 to register. Space is limited, according to organizers.

The discussion will offer a look at training resources available to the manufacturing community by Polaris MEP, WeMakeRI and other organizations. Speakers are Christian Cowan of Polaris MEP; Barbara Jackson of WeMakeRI; Scott Jensen of Real Jobs Rhode Island; Gene Berthiaume of GD&T Training; and a representative of the Governor’s Workforce Board.
The session, which includes breakfast, will be held from 7:30-10 a.m. The Providence Marriott Downtown is located at 1 Orms St.
This event is free for RIMA members and $25 for nonmembers.
