Matthew S. Blank has been named director of investments for The Washington Trust Co.’s Washington Trust Investors division. Blank will be responsible for managing the portfolios of nonprofit organizations and pension accounts. He brings to his role more than 25 years of experience, most recently as senior vice president, director of investment research at Citizens Bank, Rhode Island. •
