HUD recognizes E.G. development

EAST GREENWICH – The Cottages on Greene mixed-income residential development has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The community, which is made up of 15 cottage-style homes off of Route 1, was featured in the HUD newsletter Breakthroughs.
The newsletter touted the development’s green features, such as damp-blown cellulose insulation, low-flow toilets and showerheads, and foundation systems fabricated with built-in insulation.
Cottages on Greene was designed by Donald Powers Architects and developed by 620 Main Street Associates.
