FAIRHAVEN – Eleven high school students from the South Coast region have been awarded $1,000 scholarships by First Citizens’ Federal Credit Union.
Each of the scholarships is awarded to students who “demonstrated a high level of academic excellence, leadership and service to their community,” according the credit union.
“It is an honor to be able to recognize these outstanding young men and women,” said Peter Muise, president and CEO of First Citizens’.
Winning the awards were:

- Brian Caton, New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School
- Erica Davignon, New Bedford High School
- Daniel Donovan, Harwich High School
- Spencer Kelly, Dennis-Yarmouth High School
- Kryssianna Paulo, Taunton High School
- Derek Selfridge, Barnstable High School
- Jordyn Serpa, New Bedford High School
- Alexander Sodekson, Falmouth High School
- Leonard Sprague, Bridgewater-Raynham High School
