Victoria M. Almeida has become the first recipient and namesake of the Rhode Island Bar Association’s Victoria M. Almeida Servant Leader Award. The award honors her achievements as a lawyer and as an active member of the community. She is the president of the Rhode Island Bar Association and serves on multiple committees and boards. Almeida also serves on the R.I. Parole Board, the R.I. Health Services Council and the Diocesan Catholic School Board, among others. •
