Collegium Pharmaceutical expanding

Collegium Pharmaceutical is expanding its offices in Cumberland with a new lease in the Highland Corporate Park. The company already operates in the park and will add 7,645 square feet with its latest lease, the Economic Development Foundation of Rhode Island reported last week.
The privately held company develops drugs for the treatment of central nervous system, respiratory and skin related disorders. The company also owns Onset Therapeutics, which markets wound care therapy treatments.
Collegium Pharmaceutical will expand into Building II of the Cumberland Commerce Center, which sits within the 240-acre manufacturing and office park. The commerce center comprises three buildings, the first which opened in 2008 and is leased to Neurotech Pharmaceuticals.
The expansion was also heralded by the Economic Development Foundation and the R.I. Economic Development Corporation, with their directors saying such growth is key to creating jobs in the state.
The news comes shortly after CVS Caremark Corp. announced the construction of two new office buildings in Highland Park totaling approximately 340,000 square feet. Other companies located in the park include Tiffany & Co., Cintas Corp., Polyrack North American Corp., The Hart Companies, Numark, TriLiteral, Proctor & Gamble, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson and Tedor Pharmaceuticals.
