J. Dawn Abbott has been named director of the interventional cardiology fellowship program at Rhode Island Hospital. She joined the division of cardiology in 2004 and is an assistant professor of medicine at Brown University’s Warren Alpert Medical School. Abbott received grants from the American College of Cardiology and the Rhode Island Foundation. She has an M.D. from the University of Chicago-Pritzker School of Medicine. •
