Karen Pontrelli has been named human resources manager at Quality Partners of Rhode Island. Pontrelli will be responsible for employee relations, compensation and benefits, recruiting, training, employment law, HR-information systems and payroll functions. Previously, Pontrelli served as manager of human resources at Colonial Mills Inc. She received an A.S. in administrative management and a B.A. in liberal studies from Providence College. •
