Richard Elderkin has been appointed vice president of H. Carr & Sons Inc., an interior contractor. His responsibilities include overseeing cost estimates as well as the training and development of the estimating department personnel. He has been with the company for 35 years, previously serving as chief estimator in the Providence headquarters. He attended the University of Rhode Island.
