SMITHFIELD – Bryant University has entered into an agreement with Lifespan to offer its MBA program to Lifespan employees through on-site classes and weekly “virtual” classes.
The program began Feb. 2, with 24 students who will take two courses per semester, with materials and case studies tailored to the health care field. The students are scheduled to graduate in the spring of 2009.

Brion P. Carroll, director of Lifespan Learning Institute, which set up the program with Bryant, called it “one of the most significant and important milestones in the institute’s history,” and “a testament to our strong and evolving partnership with Bryant University.”
“Lifespan has delivered services to Rhode Island in an exemplary manner,” said Ronald K. Machtley, Bryant’s president. “Bryant’s MBA program is designed to enhance the leadership skills and business acumen of individuals who want to advance their organizations and their careers.”
