John J. Hardiman

John J. Hardiman, chief public defender in the R.I. Office of the Public Defender, has received a Neil J. Houston Memorial Award for service to the criminal justice profession and the public interest. Hardiman is a graduate of Providence College and California Western University of Law. A past president of the R.I. Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, he serves on panels including the R.I. Justice Commission.
