The Illinois Department of Revenue, Lottery Program (“Illinois Lottery”) consented to GTECH’s merger with Lottomatica on Friday, according to a report filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission today. The Illinois Lottery confirmed the merger will not result in the termination of its contract.
According to the filing, GTECH believes the condition in the merger agreement with respect to its Illinois Lottery contract has been satisfied.
