L. Peter Sheehan has been named vice president and investment officer for Washington Trust. He works out of the bank’s South Main Street office in Providence. Sheehan is responsible for managing investment portfolios for clients of the bank’s wealth management group. He also participates in investment policy and process decision-making. Sheehan has a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire.
