Andrea Reed has been named director of marketing for Advertising Ventures, based in Providence. She is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic marketing communications, budget and media planning and enhancing client relations. She is a member of the Rhode Island chapter of the March of Dimes communications committee; the American Marketing Association’s R.I. chapter; and Public Relations Society of America, R.I. chapter. Reed received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island. She lives in Johnston.
